Arizona School Administrators recognize Kate Brophy McGee as a Champion of Education
I am honored to be named a Champion of Education by the Arizona School Administrators Association. The ASA represents more than over 1,400 principals, superintendents and other education professionals involved in the managing Arizona’s public schools.
As a 10-year former school board member, plus another six years on the Arizona School Facilities Board, I have always been strongly committed to education. As a legislator, I voted against drastic budget cuts to our school districts, fought for local control, and most recently voted to put dollars directly into our classrooms – all without raising taxes.
Thank you, ASA, for recognizing my efforts at the Capitol and support for Arizona schools.
